An artificial Christmas tree with needles made of injection molding (polyethylene) looks particularly realistic and lifelike. In contrast to the cheaper and flat PVC needles, the needles of real firs and spruces are perfectly imitated.

In principle, artificial Christmas trees can be bought all year round. It may be worth looking for offers. Most retailers offer a promotion at well-known events such as Black Friday, Cyber ​​Monday, the sales after Christmas or "Christmas in July". We have discounts, promotions or competitions all year round.

By using high-quality materials in the production of artificial Christmas trees, these trees are designed to last for at least 5 years. However, if you take good care of your artificial Christmas tree, it can easily last 10 to 15 years.

Various factors play a role. However, there are three main points that determine the majority of the price. First of all, it depends on the material used. There is 100% injection molding (PE), PE/PVC mix and PVC. PE is significantly more expensive than PVC, which is why the trees made of 100% injection molding are usually a bit more expensive. Then, of course, it depends on the size. Larger trees are more expensive than small trees. An integrated string of lights costs more than no string of lights.

According to a study by the American Christmas Tree Association (2018), an artificial Christmas tree that is used for at least 5 years is more sustainable than cutting down a tree every year for five years.
